Jean was the favorite of many people due to his great character development. Jean started as a character who wanted to take the easy way out and didn’t want to face any form of danger but after a certain event his motives changed and he decided to stay in the survey corps and help other people.
After the rumbling Jean played a major role in establishing peace between Eldian and the rest of the world and did not lose anyone major. In my opinion, Jean is one of the few characters who got what they deserved.

9. Theo Magath
Magath was general of the Marleyan Military and once led the Warrior program. He was extremely racist and unsympathetic toward his unit. Like the rest of the world, he also believed the Elidians were evil and didn’t deserve to live.
During the invasion in Yeagerist Compound Magath had a realization that Elidans are not evil as the world claims to be and decides to join hands with them to stop the rumbling and sacrificed his life and destroyed the Marley cruiser to help the group escape.
In the end, Magath deserved to die for what he did his whole life but the change of heart at the end of the series and his sacrifice to stop yeagerist was a very respectable and honorable way to die. He is the only Marleyan character who had an honorable death that’s why he is on our list of characters who got what they deserved.
8. Willy Tybur
Willy Tybur was an Eldina who was living a noble life in Marley by lying that his family was responsible for defeating Titans while it was Karl Fritz who used Founding Titan to voluntarily put Eldians behind the walls in Paradis island.
Willy Tybur Revealed this truth to the marleyans at the start of season 4 but subsequently also announced a war against them in the same speech before getting eaten by Eren.
What happened to Willy was direct karma as he and his family were living a noble life by telling a hoax and even going so far as to start a war against his people and because of this reason he is on our list of characters who got what they deserved.
7. Falco Grice
Falco was the most beloved Warrior Programm character in the entire series due to his kind nature. Even after the brainwashing from Marley Falco was very empathic and understood what was the right thing to do and played an important role in stopping the rumbling.
Falco fits our like of Characters who got what they deserved perfectly as he inherited the Jaw titan from Porco and became the first titan with the ability of flight.
His ability become very essential as he carried Annie and Gabi to Fort Salta where they fought with the founding titan to stop the rumbling and Falco played an important role in that battle.

6. Rod Reiss
Rod Riess was the true leader of the wall as he was of the royal blood but he was such a cowardly character. He wanted to bring the powers of finding Titan back into his family but was so cowardly that rather than inheriting the power himself he forced Historia to do it.
But when the historian refuses to take the titan serum and knocks the serum vile destroying it Rod Riess licks it from the ground turning into an abnormal titan which was bigger than even the colossus titan but had short limbs so it can’t stand up and have to crawl.
After this, he started to move toward wall Rose and is intercepted by survey crops Eren shoved barrels of gunpowder in his mouth causing an explosion that blew off his head
5. Bertholdt Hoover
Bertholdt was the perfect soldier that Marleyan created. He followed orders and did not think anything for himself. he was an introverted and shy character who was easily influenced by others. He also possessed the power of the colossus titan which was considered the strongest for the longest time.
Berthold was the one who made the hole in Wall Maria and thus started the titan invasion which lead to the death of countless innocent civilians including Eren’s mother.
In the end, Berthholdt was defeated by Armin and Eren as Armin forced the colossus titan to use all his energy while putting his own life at risk, and Eren attacked him while he was distracted. Later Berthold was fed to Armin to save his life.
4. Sergeant Major Gross
Gross was a Racist and sadistic Marley sergeant who enjoys torturing and punishing Eldians. He enjoyed turning Eldians into Titans and feeding other Elidans to them. He was the one who fed Grisha’s sister to Dogs.
He also planned to feed Grisha to his former comrade after turning him into a titan but at that moment Eren Kruger came into pressure and pushed Gross into the ditch and was killed by a Titan. This scene was one of the most satisfying moments in the entire series.
3. Zeke Yeager
A lot of people in the Attack on Titan community hate Zeke Yeager for what he did to beloved Erwin Smith and Captain Levi. Zeke was a nihilist who wanted the complete wipeout of his kind by making them sterile using the power of founding titan.
He fought with Levi multiple times but every time he somehow managed to escape, on his last fight with Levi he also gravely injured Levi.
so you can imagine the satisfaction readers got when Captain Levi decapitated him on Eren’s back was unmatched and Zeke got what he deserved.
2. Historia Reiss
Historia Reiss Had to most interesting journey in the entire series. She went from a regular member of the Survey Corps to the most important person in the entire Pradis island. Historia Reiss as you know is the last of the royal family and the true leader of the walls.
She had gone through many hardships throughout the entire series from having her mother murdered in front of her and her father kidnapping her and forcing her to become a titan and her best friend turning out to be a titan.
But in the end, she had a satisfactory ending where she now can rule the kingdom or sit back and take care of her family and loved ones.
1. Mikasa Ackerman
Only if she confessed her true feelings, the rumbling could’ve been avoided entirely but she decided not to do so and got what she was coming for her. She had to kill the love of her life with her hand by beheading him to save the rest of the world.
She may be remembered as the hero who saved the world but she will never be able to remove the blood of her love from her hands and have to live with it for the rest of her life.
